The Staten Island Museum is proud to announce the return of our Juried Art Show in February 2009! Show will run from February 18 - May 31, 2009 Submissions Deadline: January 19, 2009
Entry Information
Only original works of art completed within the last five years by practicing professional artists living or working on Staten Island are eligible. Work that has previously been shown at the Museum is not eligible. The artist may submit up to five works in various media including, but not limited to oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen & ink, graphic art, collage, sculpture, photography. Work, including frame, should not exceed 60”x72”. Eligibility of oversized work and unusual renderings or materials, will be at the discretion of the jury.
Each artist should provide a brief bio of no more than 100 words that will be edited by the Museum for exhibition/publicity. The exhibit may be videotaped for promotional and or archival purposes. All submitted application materials will become the property of the Staten Island Museum to further our artist files and will not be returned.
